FAQ's

1. How far is the property from Portrush town centre?

     You are a 2-3 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk from town centre and both the East and West Strand beaches.

2. Is there parking at the property?

     There is plenty of room for off street parking for 4-5 cars on the driveway.

3. Is the property child friendly?

     We have available both a small travel style cot and a larger cot for toddlers use, both are provided with all linen if needed.

     Also available are a high chair, baby bath and a baby video monitor if required.

     All the stairs have child safety gates both at the top and bottom.

     Appropriate cupboard doors on the ground floor are fitted with child locks.

     Soft matting is available to be used on the patio if required for small children to play on.

 4. Are Towels and bed linen provided?

     Yes.

      All bed linen is provided and plenty of fresh, quality towels are supplied.

      We will leave it to you if you want to bring beach towels.

 5. Are there laundry facilities?

     Yes.

      Both a large capacity washing machine and tumble drier are available in the utility room. 

      A drying line is also located on the patio area.

 6. Is there WiFi in the property?

     Yes.

      Full WiFi is available throughout the property.

 7. Are there BBQ facilities?

     Yes.

      A large kettle BBQ including utensils and outside dinnerware are available for guest use.

 8. Is the property suitable for parties?

      The house is perfect for family and/or friends to get together for celebrations like birthdays, anniversaries etc.

      It is also perfect for groups of friends touring the North Coast for golf or sightseeing.

      As the house is set in a quiet residential area, parties that tend to produce loud music or noise would not be permitted.

      Please respect the neighbours and the neighbourhood.

 9. What kitchen facilities are available?

      Everything you should need to self cater is provided.

      Ample utensils, cutlery, dinnerware, glasses/cups and appliances are all there for your use.

10. Is the property dog friendly?

      Yes.

       The family pooches are welcome provided they are well behaved and remain on the ground floor.

        Please don't allow them to use the furniture and if needed please use the poo bags in the utility room.

        A dog bed and scoop is available in the shed for your use.

11. Is smoking permitted?

      No.

       Smoking is not permitted inside or around the patio area of the property.

       Please use the front of the property if required, thank you.

12.  Are there reviews of the property that we can read?

       Yes.

13.  How can I book?

        Once your chosen dates are confirmed, we will send a booking form out to you for completion.

        A 25% deposit will be required to secure your dates and the balance paid at least four weeks before arrival.

        We request a fully refundable security deposit.  This is to cover any damage or major breakages.

        This deposit will be refunded following a post check out inspection.

14.  Can I cancel my booking?

       Your booking is fully cancellable up until and including the date your balance is due and your deposit would be fully refunded to you in that situation.

       If you cancel after this date refunds will not be provided in the event that the hirer is unable to proceed with the booking for whatever reason.

       The only exception to this would be in the event of cancellation due to Government COVID restrictions being put in place which prevented you from staying.

       In these circumstances we would refund all monies.
